DR. MILIND KULKARNI
Dr. Milind V. Kulkarni is currently working as ‘Scientist-D’. He is a very passionate individual who thinks in an innovative way and is making India proud with his outstanding and noticeable work in the field of Nanotechnology and Electronics. As a person he is very soft spoken, down to Earth, humble, versatile, loyal and a true patriotic person.
Till now, he has published 65 research papers in international journals of high reputation. He has filed 12 patents, including one US Patent. Also he has presented more than 120 papers in National and International conferences and delivered more than 30 invited lectures.
He is also a recipient of the prestigious, ‘YOUNG ASSOCIATE OF MAHARASHTRA ACADEMY OF SCIENCE-2009’ and ‘FELLOW OF MAHARASHTRA ACADEMY OF SCIENCE-2013’ awards.
It was a great opportunity indeed for the CWITians to interview Dr. M.V. Kulkarni.
MR. SANTOSH OSTWAL
Mr. Santosh Ostwal is currently working as the CEO and is the founder director of Ossian Agro Automation Private Limited. The company is working in the field of rural agro automation and has developed a revolutionary electronic device “Nano Ganesh”. He is an innovative person who has put up many “World changing” ideas and has set an example of a very dedicated and a passionate entrepreneur in front of us. He had to face many difficulties, hardships and workloads, but he strived on, worked hard and passionately moved forward to reach his goal.
He has got many awards, recognitions and laurels for his noticeable and outstanding work in agriculture automation sector. He is the recipient of “The Tech Award Laureate, 2011” by the Tech museum, CA, USA and “South Asian mBillionth Award” in ‘environment category’ by Digital Empower Foundation. He has been the “Grand Winner in Nokia Innovation Competition in 2009”. Also, ’Nano Ganesh’ profile (around 15 pages) has been published by the UNFAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations) in a book named as “Success Stories in ICT for Agriculture and Rural Development (2015)”.
Santosh Ostwal sir is an Alumnus of ‘Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology, Pune’ and it was a great pleasure for us to interview the ‘Shining star’ of our college on 2nd February, 2016.
